Xi'an China– July 24–25, 2025 – Welong held its highly anticipated 2025 Mid-Year Meeting and Team Building Retreat over two dynamic days filled with collaboration, creativity, and celebration.
Day 1: Outdoor Team Building & Celebration
The first day, July 24, was dedicated to team building and outdoor activities designed to foster stronger communication, cooperation, and team spirit. Employees were divided into four groups, kicking off the morning with fun and engaging icebreaker games such as "Peach Blossom Blossoms" and "Tower Building Challenge". These games encouraged creative thinking and collective problem-solving.
In the afternoon, the focus shifted to an energetic aerobic drum performance session. Each team selected a song and choreographed a dance routine to match the rhythm, combining music, movement, and teamwork in a group showdown. The atmosphere was filled with energy, laughter, and team pride as each group competed in a friendly PK (performance knockout) round.
The day concluded with an unforgettable evening barbecue and bonfire party, where colleagues relaxed, shared stories, and celebrated the camaraderie built throughout the day under the open sky.
Day 2: Mid-Year Company Meeting
On July 25, the formal mid-year company meeting took place, focusing on reflection, recognition, and planning for the months ahead. The agenda was divided into four key sections:
1.Departmental Reports – Representatives from the Sales, Technical, Quality, Finance, and Administration departments each presented detailed summaries of their work in the first half of the year, along with strategies and objectives for the second half of 2025.
2.Award Ceremony – Outstanding individuals and teams were recognized for their contributions and performance, highlighting Welong's culture of excellence and encouragement.
3.College Entrance Exam Gift Distribution – As part of Welong's employee care initiative, the company distributed special gifts to employees whose children recently took the college entrance examination (Gaokao), showing support for their families during this important time.
4.President Wang's Closing Speech – The event concluded with a motivating and forward-looking speech from President Wang, who acknowledged everyone's hard work and shared the company's vision and goals for the rest of the year.
This two-day retreat not only boosted team morale but also reinforced Welong's commitment to creating a supportive, dynamic, and high-performing work environment.
